This is fun, actually.

The Free Land of Peetster is a tiny, economically powerful nation, renowned for its absence of drug laws. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 5 million are either ruled by a small, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.
The minute, pro-business government, or what there is of one, is mainly concerned with Religion & Spirituality, although Commerce and Defence are on the agenda. Income tax is unheard of. A robust private sector is led by the Automobile Manufacturing, Beef-Based Agriculture, and Gambling industries.
Crime is a serious problem, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Peetster's national animal is the squirrel, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the peetster.
