From your concerns, it sounds like something you should not do. Your worries will not go away if you go through with it, they will only get worse. Your wife and a co-worker? Just sounds like a bad mix. What if something goes wrong? Then you have to deal with it at home and at work. If you and your wife do decide this is something you want to do, you probably want to find a third who is not a co-worker and is not a relative of another person who can make your life a living hell.
