There's been discussion off and on for about the last year that Roger had been working on some stuff for a new "rock" album, but then things heated up with his Opera 'Ca Ira' and talk of the rock album kinda died down.
However, sometime in late July Mark Fenwick (Roger's manager) got the word out to a few websites that Roger was recording 2 new songs inspired by the US invasion of Iraq, and that those 2 songs would be made available on his offical site

"To Kill A Child" and
"Leaving Beirut" are the first studio recording from Roger in almost 3 years. On the songs Roger himself plays guitar, keyboards, bass, and provides the lead vocals.
