Large corporate network... need to do some after hours maintenance on a users system, don't want to walk or maybe even drive to the users desk, there ya go.
Perhaps doing large networked software updates after hours, dont want to have to turn every users computer on and off manually...
It's mostly useful in a corporate setting.
