It seems that the winning stategy would be to pick the winner that is least likely to win later in the season, thus leaving the more obviously strong teams for other weeks.
Week 1 offers lots of choices in this category:
Cincy/NYJ
Jacksonville/Buffalo
Detroit/Chicago
Oakland/Pittsburg
ATL/SFran
In order to get them (and myself) out of the way early, this week's pick is:
