Well, I think that's a rather simplistic analysis of the topic. No offense meant! I mean, you can't really discuss the pros and cons, the
moral justification of these vans, without considering the underlying premises and goals with which they are associated.
To do otherwise would reduce almost any discussion here to logical/philosophical sophistry. Yes, if you want to simply undergo a cost-benefit analysis, then your statement is correct. But I think we're
also discussing whether the whole concept is justified.
Just my opinion. And I won't flame you! :-)
