I only wear them when I'm about to get my period (so I don't ruin a good pair of undies) and when I'm wearing a tampon (because my flow is super heavy and I go through even the super plus pearls in an hour or two).
For those of you who are regular pantiliner users, beware that it increases your chances of developing a yeast infection. Anything that traps moisture in your genital region--such as pads, pantiliners, and even wet bathing suits---create a wonderful environment in which yeast thrives. Be sure to change them regularly and allow your poor vagina to BREATHE!!
Cotton panties are definitely the best option, besides commando, since they are very breathable. Just be wary of the possible consequences of pantiliner dependence
