what little of dj shadow ive heard ive liked. ill check out more.
i like air's 'talisman' a lot. ambient-like but with some energy.

hmm, jazz is tricky. thing is, i like jazz a lot but am tired of 'old style', 'classic' jazz, if that makes sense. something jazzy with a 'modern sound' would be great. is ska sleepy-ish?, that would not be good in this case, but if it isn't, sure. who?
