Just to add:

Chances are the notebook has a wireless card on it. Most new notebooks come with it standard, so you won't need to buy a card.

Like Lasereth said, you'll instead need to buy a wireless router. I would recommend just replacing your hub with the router.

I just bought that router for my brother and set up his home network. He has two desktops wired and one notebook wirelessly networked, and there are no problems. (The router can connect both wirelessly and wired) I haven't tried to set up printer sharing yet, but I don't think it would be too hard. The router works almost exactly like a hub, except it has a built in firewall, which is quite useful.
