This one never bugged me until this morning, when I came to the conclusion that people walk worse than they drive. Now I got my liscence in Connecticut, but spent all my driving years in NJ and Mass, so the bar is pretty low on being around really good drivers. Drivers in those areas are bad... Walkers are worse.
I think people shoudl start wearing directionals on their butts as well as brake lights so when they go to change direction or stop, it's easy to spot. When entering a busy corridor, they need to learn how to use the merge lane, and not just pull out into a congested corridor, they wouldn't do it driving... well some would.
The airports are the worst because people are usually toting a big ass suitcase behind them, don't they realize if they drove a car with a trailer hitch, they'd have to take more care when driving, same rules apply to walking.
