Lately I have been listening to alot of Mr Projectile.
Hands down, the most beautiful production I've heard in a loooong time! It's uses more ambient textures than most "IDM", nor is it abrasive... it's off-beat beat-structure characteristic of "idm" is beautiful and well constructed, and sends my heart spinning... thick sounds and textures that slice into emotion. be forewarned that it's not cold like alot of idm can be, it's, in fact, very emotional. if you like Dntel, you'll like this.
if you need to preview just one track before buying the album, I would suggest "you need" (track 1 off his album "sinking").
