Feed the cats. Let it lie low for a while. The police can't do much w/out witnessing it (or so they say) - so go w/that. Wait a reasonable amount of time, in which you can think of numerous ways of payback. Then give her the surprise of her life. Nothing crazy enough to give her a heart attack, just enough to think twice about messing w/you again.
