Doom 2:
Connected over a modem with a buddy of mine we used to play through the game and every set of maps we could find co-op. So this one time, in one of the official co-op maps, we managed to lead a Cyberdemon back to our spawn point. Well yea, you guessed it, as soon as we'd spawn BAM, instantly blow up, because Mr. Cyberdemon was sending an endless barrage of rockets at the spawnpoint. About half the time we spawned, we managed to get off a single pistol shot, so all in all it only took a few hours to kill him.
