I do think the Bush Administration will play with the Alert system, and "possible terrorist" attacks to benefit their campaign. I'm sure they're pushing with all their resources to capture Bin Ladin, because sadly, that would be something that would easily tilt the election in Bush's favor "Look, I was successful in capturing Bin Ladin, now lets invade Iran!!!"

Being a staunch Republican it pains me to agree with this. I think kurty hit it on the head though. As Bill O'Reilly said, if Bin Laden is captured before the election, Bush probably has the win.
