Everyone knows about the trip most people take when they are in college, touring around europe or other places with a pack, a friend, and a map. In my current situation I am in college and I haven't taken said trip quite yet (hopefully I can get things worked out by next year). I was wondering if anyone on this board could tell me about their own experiences or helpful hints. I would especially appreiciate it if you could tell me how to make the trip cheaper (for example: working on a ship as a way of transport (I dont even know if that is possible) or anything really).
