In Goldeneye, in the statue graveyard where you retrieve the flight recorder box, for two days I was trying to defeat the men at the gate to exit the 'yard, and whatever I tried, be it sneak up on them, rush them with guns-ablazing, or slowly walk up to them, they always ended up serving my ass on a platter for lunch.
Needless to say, I was near tears of frustration, and even resorted to banging my controller against the arm of the couch in a fit of pique, like a child in a temper tantrum.
I finally quit for about a week, 'til I calmed down.
Then, I called the Nintendo help-line and they told me I was supposed to surrender to the guards instead of attacking them.
I felt like the biggest idiot.
