XP, right? How many user accounts do you have on your machine? If you have more than one, it's a lengthy process. First, promote all users to system administrators (so you can get at their accounts in safe mode), make sure your Ad-Aware and SpyBot are up to date with the latest definitions, reboot into safe mode, log into each account and run Ad-Aware and Spybot, clear Temporary Internet Files, and delete all items in \Documents and Settings\[currentloggedinuser]\Local Settings\Temp. Log out, log into next account and repeat.
Other than that, I guess we could always fall back on the "Reformat" option...
