If all of the machines are clear of spyware, I'd also look into a firmware upgrade for the router. I know some of the firmware revisions of their wireless routers had some issues. Never hurts to get the latest firmware, even if it is a wired router.
Running netstat -a on the 3rd PC will show you a list of all open connections. It's normal for it to be about a page and a half or more. Look for ESTABLISHED connections to machines other than localhost and that should clue you in on if something is on your PC phoning home..
