My hubby likes to go for the homemade gifts, our first christmas he made me a pillow. The material was my favorite colors and it was shaped like a butterfly one of my favorite animals. Our first anniversary I wrote a fairytale about us. I wrote it in a nice notebook with a cloth cover and went to Kinko's and got color copies of pictures of us. I glued those in to illustrate it. My favorite gifts are the ones that tell me he really thought of me, they're simple things but things I really wanted/needed. Like he bought me a hardcover book when I was waiting for it to come out in paperback. He got me a radio for the shower and a filing cabinet one Christmas because he'd heard me say in passing those were things I wanted.
