Ah, I forgot one. Some old game in the early 90's. Got a disk from pcgamer or something with patches on it. (pre-easy internet you had to buy game magazines for the disks with patches and mods on them, for you young'ens). Installed the patch THEN read the read-me which stated that the version was incompatible with earlier saved games. D'oh.
