As I understand it:
Agnostic = questioning the existance of god.
Atheist = denying the existance of god.
I am an atheist. I firmly believe that God is a fairy tale...a myth. Much the same as Zeus, Santa Claus and WMD. (OK...that last part was unnecessary...but funny.) I can't
prove that God doesn't exist, anymore than I can prove to my son that the monster under his bed doesn't exist. I know that it's not there...but I'll never convince
him of that. Not until he's older, and mature enough, to see for himself that the monster...just isn't there.
