I have a tendency to be anemic because I have colitis and sometimes loose blood...
Nowadays, 7 years after having been diagnosed with colitis, I never know whether I'm well or not, but I do feel constantly tired.
Since colitis is for life, I probably will never be free of it's symptoms.
I try to lead a healthy life mainly, as i've tried everything to make the symptoms recede. I came to the conclusion that moderation is the key, never have too much or too little of anything. I also exercise regularly which gives me more energy to get through the day.
The fact is there are so many names for little ailments that we might, have, allergies to everything you can imagine, intolerances of this or that, that you're better off just getting on with your life and being true to your body.

Whether we write or speak or do but look
We are ever unapparent. What we are
Cannot be transfused into word or book.
Our soul from us is infinitely far.
However much we give our thoughts the will
To be our soul and gesture it abroad,
Our hearts are incommunicable still.
In what we show ourselves we are ignored.
The abyss from soul to soul cannot be bridged
By any skill of thought or trick of seeming.
Unto our very selves we are abridged
When we would utter to our thought our being.
We are our dreams of ourselves, souls by gleams,
And each to each other dreams of others' dreams.
Fernando Pessoa, 1918
