All I can really write on this is to assure you that you are not a freak. On several occasions I've been able to orgasm, shoot, and go right back to sex; but this is not the norm. Normal I shoot, I score, I'm done. Achieving another erection is out of the question for at the very least 10-15 minutes, and that erection probably won't be as hard. I've also managed to hold back from shooting during an orgasm, only to lose the erection and end up in a lot of pain, or spend an hour trying to get it off again.
If there's a technique to allow multiples that I'm just not using, I'd love to know about it.
