Part of the reason U.S. citizens engender so much dislike from the rest of the world do is due to their ignorance of the global situation. All of those countries you listed, plus additional ones you haven't (e.g., Spain and Greece), have been dealing with catastrophic terrorist attacks on their home soil for over 20 years now.
Suddenly the whole world is an oyster for the taking when it finally gets enough media play to make the citizens here feel affected--but it's been going on for a long time.
