I've got a fairly new gmail account that I've only used to send an email to my brother. It's not been used for anything else. No e-mails sent, or received other than those to my brother.
But when I logged in I had 2 e-mails, that I don't understand where they'd come from.
The first one....

I edited out the personal information. But I googled the name of the place and the phone number and they're both legit. It's some art gallery in New York. I've never heard of them though.
What strikes me as odd is that my email address is pretty unique. It's my last name @gmail.com, but there's only a dozen or so with the same last name.
I can't comprehend how I could receive this email.
And than there was this one...which looks to just be some spam, but I don't know.

I hadn't sent any emails for about a week before I got this.
Maybe this type of random shit is common, but I've never received anything like these in my non gmail accounts.
Any explantation to either one?
