I will agree that their sounds often come off sounding random and haphazardly thrown together, but rest assured that they are prescisely and mathematically constructed. Recently, I have been delving into the many Many MANY levels of Boards of Canada. When you really analyze it, their sound is breathtaking. I have always been really into them, but now I feel like I have an understanding and appreciation for it like I never had before.
