In my mind, there is nothing good enough. I always have the desire to create something that is my own. That way you can create it and change it any way you want.
It is pretty easy if you'd like to create a sijmple journalling system. A few pages of PERL or PHP would make it very easy for you to update.
Hrm, now that I remember: The first incarnation of my journal was a simple 300 line PERL script that grabbed text files from a directory, parsed them and displayed their contents within customizable templatese complete with variable substitution, very much like Bloxsom and Diary-X are like today.
