Yeah, perhaps if everyone started saying it, then it'd loose its
edge. However, when swearing, the attitude and everything else (body languge/gesture) are what makes it more profound

I don't know if that's the case. Quite often my friends will say it, but always in a joking context, never really too serious or insulting about it. Most people (guys) i know are apprehensive to say it in front of girls, if at all
