I'm personally thinking about getting dreadlocks in the near future. I've grown my afro pretty big (Yes, I'm mixed, Black and white; Jamaican and Canadian) through 2 years of getting braids.
And I mean I'm along the lines of getting the non-"real" ones. My girlfriend has protested that I shouldn't get dreadlocks but after pointing out in public which ones that I'd get she turned the other cheek.
I like the look of clean dreads, and I'm willing to put up with the upkeep of them, as i've gone through it with my afro and my braids. I'm willing to take it to the next level.
Carn, if you have any interesting links that are good for research, by all means send them my way, I'm thinking about getting my dreads before fall starts. Thanks.
