It gotten to where seeing a thong is like seeing someone's socks...
Personally, I don't think anything of it, unless its a wild color. But then, I'm thinking "cool color" and not "Wow, that's some wicked thong showing!"
I'd say let it ride (pun?) and don't mention it. There's plenty of negative outcomes to this situation if you open your mouth, and that should be reason enough to let this go. Foremost, you should be interested in keeping your friendship exactly that...
