i voted no because i doubt a major attack before the election. technically, someone placing a suicide bomb would count as an attack, but something like that couldn't really be prevented anyways. so no major attack, i think.
and yeah, calling it the "homeland" just reminds me of calling nazi germany the "fatherland" and communist russia the "motherland."
