if you want proof of how powerful the engines on a 747 are, stand behind a Cessna when it starts to taxi. Now extrapolate the comparitivlely puny power of the Cessna, which just forced you to turn around and take a step to keep your balance, compared to the power of 4 747 engines, which can have nearly 60,000 pounds of thrust EACH, and picture what will happen.
I once saw a (fortunately empty) baggage train get shot across the tarmac by a 737 engine. Wouldn't wanna be behind a 747
