With some of answers to this thread, I think I am already sick and tired of the label, "Metrosexual". Enough already. I trim, I pluck, I wash with the nice men's shampoo and conditioners, dry clean my clothes, I take a bath, brush my teeth, and get in an extra face wash everyday. I get rid of my unibrow, I pull my nose hairs, I hedge trim the pubes and powder the balls. I do all that shit and I do this all for several reasons:
1) Chics. The chics love a man that smells and looks nice. Close attention to personal hygeine seems to be a huge turn-on to the ladies. Let's just say I have had NO issues in that department.
2) Personal gratification. If you haven't shaved the sack, you have no idea how good it feels to have a) silk boxers rubbing against the boys, b.) a woman's hand fondling the boys. It just feels dayum good.
3) Health & Hygeine. This is huge. I use Neutrogena 2 times a day to wash my face. Guess what? No more acne. I wash my hair with the good stuff because it keeps it cleaner longer, keeps it shiny, and in some cases, promotes growth of more hair. Also, I have a very positive self-image. I take the time to care about my looks and it helps with self esteem (which, as a kid, I was severely lacking)
People say to just be yourself. I agree. I am being myself.
