Most restaurants have a "corkage" fee if you bring in your own bottle of wine. Did that for a friends birthday, we brought in 2 really nice special bottles of wine that the restuarant didn't serve -
The restaurant charged us 15 dollars per bottle. Which was actually fine by us...
If someone brings in food from the outside, they should be charged a "foodage" fee. The table still needs to be cleaned up, the staff still has to be attentive.
