2 things that I do when having lots of picky eaters over.
1. Soft shell tacos.
Get flour and corn tortillas- if you want to be really crafty make them yourself (they're soooo much better.
Then put a ton of fixings out. Soy Taco meat, black beans, sauteed mushrooms, cheese, radish sprouts, cabbage, lettuce, tomatoes, sauteed chopped potatoes, olives etc....
or
2. spring rolls: spring rolls are made with rice paper that you buy dried in an asian market. You dip the large round sheets in warm water then roll them yourself.
I put out bowls with the following: mushrooms, avocado, cooked rice noodles, bean sprouts, jicama, lettuce, mint and basil leaves, etc... then put out some bowls with different asian dipping sauces.
