Those sticky traps are completely ridiculous. The ones they give us at my college instruct us to take the mouse-on-trap at least 1 mile away from our home (but who cares about any other homes)and then push it off the trap with the butt end of a pencil. Yes, a PENCIL. I defy you to find me somebody that can get a rodent unstuck from one of these traps by poking it with a pencil.
Impaling a rat on a pencil is not exactly my idea of a good time.
