Did Jason Allison make a miraculous recovery all of the sudden and I missed it? I'm asking because, for some insane reason, supposedly 12 teams, including the Hurricanes, are interested in singing him. Now I admit, before the concussion, Allison was a brute and one of the best power forwards in the league, but after 2 years of rehab and no improvement in sight, at least that I know of, he would seem to me to be too great a risk to spend a large amount of payroll on. At least as risky as Lindros, if not more because he hasn't played at all in those years. Could anyone shed some light on this subject?
