Ron Jr. a Dem Party leader in the making? and other musings on tonight's Conv.
Best speech tonight was Ronny Jr. he truly impressed me.
Yes, it was well rehearsed but he was funny, informative, did not talk down to anyone and very charismatic.
I don't know if he is a Dem. (I believe in the 80's he did a few articles for RS and claimed to be a Dem.), but if he is the party needs to recruit him and see if he'd run for office. The man has great potential.
As for Obama, another very powerful man, but for some reason he seems to perfect. Maybe I'm tainted and pessimistic when it comes to politics but something about the man seems very disengenuous. Very charismatic and will definately go far, just hope I'm too suspicious and tainted.
Teresa Heinz Kerry: didn't impress me the way she took the podium and her hand movements gave me the impression she believes herself to be some form of royalty. Have a feeling she makes Hilary look like Snow White. Not impressed at all by her, thank God I am voting for her husband and not her, or for the second time in a row I'd be voting Nader.
As for the Moore vs. O'Reilly show, found it quite boring, both sides refused to answer questions and both sides really didn't accomplish anything at all, all I can say is RATINGS PLOY.
Aside from my personal feelings about the speakers, I get the feeling the Dems. seem very energized already and hopefully can carry that energy into Nov. and win.
Wish I had seen Kennedy and Dean but will surf the net and look for transcripts and judge their speeches.
Anyway, would like to hear from fellow Dems. (only please to avoid flamefests and arguments) to see how they rated tonight's speches.

I just love people who use the excuse "I use/do this because I LOVE the feeling/joy/happiness it brings me" and expect you to be ok with that as you watch them destroy their life blindly following. My response is, "I like to put forks in an eletrical socket, just LOVE that feeling, can't ever get enough of it, so will you let me put this copper fork in that electric socket?"
