With all due respect Phenomenon, H12 and crow_daw are both at least 18 years old. Granted, alcohol is illegal until you are 21, but we were all kids and we all got a little tipsy when we were at that age. Maybe you didn't but a large majority of adolescents experiment with alcohol before the legal age. So, preaching to them about what they should and shouldn't do is a mute point.
Also, they have all the legal recourse in the world. Just because they were drinking doesn't mean that it negates their ability to press charges against those fuckwads.
True, you don't need alcohol at a party to still have fun, but it would be naive to think that young adults are going to stop experimenting and pushing the age for legal drinking at a party because someone says they can have fun without it.
In addition, once an asshole, always an asshole. Regardless of the alcohol on site, these guys would probably be likely to do the same shit elsewhere. They are assholes afterall.
