Not true, I can't use a regular size condom.
The normal Trojans/spermicide/thins/lubed... all of those normal ones are too constrictive on me.
I have never actually tried Magnums. But the Lifestyles Larges are what I use and they are so much more comfortable, and still tight enough to keep anything from slipping out.
