We went this past June for our honeymoon to the Mayan Riviera. I stood right where shrubbery above stood and took a similar picture one day on a trip to the Tulum ruins.

We stayed closer to Playa Del Carmen though at an all inclusive resort. Usually that's not our style but after the crazy year we'd been through we just felt like lying around the pool drinking 'free' drinks for a week.
