I was in the hospital a few times all for different digestive problems. I don't have any fond memories of the nurses/doctors. The first time in the hospital when I was 10, a nurse kept trying to shove a catheter in me that was too big. It took the nurse several times before realizing that it was too big.
The third time in the hospital after being admitted for severe stomach cramps and vomitting a nurse kept trying to shove a large tube up my nose (and down into my stomach) while I vomitted continuously. She didn't speak any English and she wouldn't stop. During surgery they put a catheter in. When I woke up in the recovery room groggy and confused I tried to tear it out. That didn't feel too good. Apparently, the nurses were struggling to stop me. I don't remember much of it, but I was sore for a couple weeks.
Anyway, I hope that your experiences are better than mine. Get better soon.
