the ibook is a great machine... i have one too.. and i love it.... as far as a menu bar it has a dock... which is kinda like a menu bar... also it has the bar at the top which is also a type of menu bar... my advice to you would be to vist the apple.com website and maybe cheeck out there support forums they are always really helpful there..
as far as gaming goes... MACs aren't really built for gaming if you want to game you should have boughten a PC. Macs are more for production: audio production video production web production image production etc....
some really cool things about the ibook are well just the OS on it is awsome OS X is (in my opinion) one of the best OS's around! it has everything i mean speech commands and the dock is the coolest thing ever
