I have usually only dated/been interested in older guys. They just always seemed a lot more mature and for some reason mysterious. I've dated a guy 3 years older and I worked with a guy who was 8 years older and would not have minded getting to know him a bit better.
As of now, I'm dating a guy my age and I never really thought I'd do that. We get along really good and I'm happy with him. I'm glad I was willing to give it a try.
I think it's socially acceptable to date someone 10+ years older then you somewhere in your mid to late 20's. If you are 18 and dating a 30 year old people wonder if he just can't get a woman his own age. But, when you are in your late 20's it doesn't really seem to matter to anyone how many years apart people are.
