I'm bewildered - why does this thread make a connection between IDM and grindcore?
That's like making a thread called "Any Geto Boys, Raffi, Morbid Angel, or Disney soundtrack fans here??"
Grindcore = socially conscious offshoot of anarchopunk crossed with a stripped down death metal sound. Seminal bands: Napalm Death, Terrorizer, Brutal Truth, Nausea, Bolt Thrower, Carcass, Exhumed, etc.
Known connection to IDM = ZERO.
