If it comes down to this, just end it. Been with my wife for, jeez, 11 years or so, and let me say the unconditional trust is PRICELESS. More important than anything else, personally. And if you find yourself stooping to this, or won't believe her later in the relationship, you might was well end it now.
Otherwise, there's always going to be nagging doubts.......and who wants that?
