great movies you never want to see again
over the past few days, I've been able to download and watch Mystic River and 21 Grams. Found both to be very good movies with outstanding acting performances. Sean Penn is his usual stellar self in both, while Naomi Watts continues her rise to the top of the game in 21 Grams, and Tim Robbins plays as haunted a character as I've ever seen in Mystic River. If you are a fan of great acting, I strongly recommend both films.
so anyway, here's the problem. Ive got both of these films sitting on the old hard drive and just cant seem to pull the trigger on burning them to disc. as good as they were, I just dont think I ever want to see either again. the subject matter in both is so depressing, and the acting so believeable, that I just cant see subjecting myself to the gutwrenching emotion of either of them again.
another film that I thought was tremendous, but felt that one viewing was enough is Gangs of New York, though for different reasons.
so, what great movies do you never want to see again? why?
