Back in the '60s Motorola offered TV sets that put out X-rays at such high levels that they were considered harmful. There was a lot of joking about "improving the race," in that lazy and unintelligent kids who did nothing but sit in front of the TV all day would eventually be sterilized by the X-rays so they couldn't reproduce (probably not really, but that was the joke). Thus improving the specifies, you see.
Sometimes I wonder if porn on the internet isn't set up that way. By keeping men at home with their machines instead of out with real women, and by setting impossibly high and artificial standards of female beauty, is Internet porn selecting out certain classes of young males by replacing their need to breed actually with the ability to breed virtually. (Or destroy the willingness to breed entirely.) You could build a helluva conspiracy theory out of this, and that's for sure.
