We did the Aluminum and FCl in college, chucked em out of the dorm windows. This was BEFORE the current paranoia phase, and the cops still came and paid us a visit.
Basically, they weren't as impressed with our chemical prowess as we were. Threats of bomb manufacturing and such.... So we switched gears and started making "water pipes" instead!
