who to call to fix shower basin?
Quick search didn't find anything about this, so here goes.
I'm trying to coordinate repairs on a nasty leak we've had into the basement for a little while now. We finally tested some things out recently and realized it was coming from one of the showers on the first floor, most likely a failure in the shower basin, meaning, as i've been told, all the bottom tile needs to be torn up, a new basin dropped in, and everything retiled.
So my question is, who exactly does all this work? I've gotten the name of some trusted plumbers in the area that I assume could do the actual shower basin work, but what about the tile? Could the plumpers tear it up themselves and then relay it, or only tear it up, or only come in after someone else (who?) has torn it up? Any help is appreciated.
